Kingdom Leadership 2

Course Description

This course will continue to strengthen the Kingdom Leader as we look into God’s design for leadership as well as laws of leadership. Students will be equipped to serve in leadership in many capacities throughout the local church and the Kingdom as a whole.


The course consists of 8 sessions, each session including a video and corresponding course notes. After each session the student will complete a 15 question quiz. Each quiz must be completed before moving onto the next session.

Session Overview

Session 1 - The Need for Leadership

This session explores the foundational importance of leadership in the Kingdom of God. It highlights why effective leadership is essential for guiding others into spiritual maturity and emphasizes how biblical examples provide a framework for understanding the role of a leader.

Session 2 - The Art of Self-Leadership

Focusing on self-discipline and personal development, this session delves into how leaders must first lead themselves before they can lead others. It discusses the significance of personal integrity, vision, and the importance of maintaining a close relationship with God as a source of strength.

Session 3 - The Goals of Leadership

This session outlines the primary goals leaders should pursue, particularly in guiding people towards spiritual maturity. It draws from Ephesians 4 and discusses the need for helping others find their God-given purpose and develop a deeper relationship with Christ.

Session 4 - The Principles of Growth

Leaders must prioritize their own spiritual and personal growth to effectively lead others. This session covers key principles of growth, including the importance of change, intentional learning, character development, and the influence of positive environments on leadership effectiveness.

Session 5 - Key Leadership Imperatives

This session discusses critical traits and responsibilities that leaders must develop, such as commitment to divine placement, maintaining a pure heart, receiving grace, and using prophetic words as spiritual weapons. It outlines practical steps for leading with integrity and influence.

Session 6 - The Leader’s Authority (Part 1 - Spiritual Authority)

This session introduces the concept of spiritual authority, emphasizing that true authority comes from God. It explores how leaders are delegated authority from Christ to accomplish His will and discusses the power of faith and the necessity of maintaining order in the spiritual realm.

Session 7 - The Leader’s Authority (Part 2 - Moral Authority)

In this session, the focus shifts to moral authority, which is earned through authentic living and consistent integrity. It highlights the importance of relationships and trust, explaining how moral authority complements spiritual authority to enhance a leader’s influence.

Session 8 - The Anointed Leader

The final session examines the role of the Holy Spirit’s anointing in a leader’s life and ministry. It emphasizes that without the anointing, leaders cannot produce lasting fruit. The session discusses how the anointing empowers leaders for service and highlights the importance of humility and character in maintaining the anointing.
