Anointing for Ministry

Course Description
Jesus ministered on the Earth by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Today we are called to minister by that same anointing. This course will dive into understanding the anointing, the gifts that it flows through, and the multiplication of the corporate anointing. Students will receive understanding of both what the anointing is and how to flow in it.
The course consists of 7 sessions, each session including a video and corresponding course notes. After each session the student will complete a 15 question quiz. Each quiz must be completed before moving onto the next session.

Session 1 - The Anointing of Jesus: A Biblical Perspective

In this week's lecture, we explore the concept of the anointing for ministry as presented in chapters five and six. The focus is on the specific anointings associated with various ministry offices, particularly the office of the evangelist, and the importance of personal time spent with God to cultivate these anointings. The lecture emphasizes the role of the Holy Spirit in empowering believers for ministry and the necessity of surrendering oneself to flow in the anointing effectively.
Session 4 - The Anointing to Teach and Shepherd: Understanding Our Roles in Ministry
This lecture focuses on the anointing to teach and pastor, exploring the roles of Jesus as a teacher and shepherd. It emphasizes the importance of being called to ministry, the responsibilities of teachers and pastors, and the necessity of discernment in spiritual matters.
Session 5 - Understanding the Anointing: The Roles of Prophet and Apostle in Ministry
This lecture covers the anointing of the prophet and apostle, exploring their biblical foundations, roles, and responsibilities within the church. Emphasis is placed on the distinction between the gift of prophecy and the office of the prophet, as well as the significance of apostolic authority and integrity.
Session 6 - Increasing the Anointing and Peculiar Anointings
In this session, we explored how to increase the anointing in our lives through engagement with the Word, worship, and maintaining a close relationship with Jesus. We discussed the importance of a clean heart and the willingness to sacrifice for the anointing, as well as the role of impartation and atmosphere in experiencing God's presence.
Session 7 - The Healing Anointing and Corporate Anointing
In this session, we explored the healing anointing and corporate anointing as discussed in Kenneth Hagin's text. We examined the biblical foundations for healing, the necessity of faith, and the power of unity among believers to manifest God's glory. Students are encouraged to deepen their understanding of these concepts through prayer, study, and active participation in their faith communities.
